Mediterranean Kebabs
Bring a taste of the Mediterranean to your next barbecue. Inspired by the classic flavours of Greece, our lightly-seasoned Johnsonville Classic Style Sausage Meat is combined with cucumber, tomato, onion and lemon for a fresh, tasty spin on a BBQ favourite.

What You Need

mini cucumber, sliced lengthwise into quarters and chopped

parsley, chopped fine

Preparation
- Chop, prepare and combine Tomato Cucumber Toppings ingredients into bowl and set aside. Prepare Yogurt Garlic Sauce ingredients and combine in another bowl. Set aside until ready to serve.
- Preheat grill to medium. Use your hands to combine the sausage meat, onion, parsley, all spice and cinnamon in a medium size bowl. Divide the meat mixture into 4 and press meat along the skewer, forming a long sausage shape. Repeat with remaining 3 skewers.
- Grill skewers for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
- Gently grill and warm the pita for approximately 1-2 minutes (can be done in last minutes of cooking skewers). Place each pita on a plate (or platter) and top with a dollop of yogurt garlic sauce, grilled kebab skewer and a spoonful of tomato cucumber topping.
