Creamy Sausage Pasta

What You Need

1 pkg
orecchiette pasta
4 cups
spinach leaves
1/2 cup
chicken stock
1/2 cup
heavy cream
2
cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 cup
parmesan, grated

basil leaves, sliced
Preparation
  • In a large pot bring salted water to a boil. Cook orecchiette pasta as per the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat a large skillet on medium heat, cook Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage Meat until browned.
  • Set cooked sausage aside in a bowl.
  • Add garlic and chicken stock to the skillet.
  • Add heavy cream, continue to stir so the sauce thickens.
  • Add cooked sausage meat into the cream sauce.
  • Add spinach and parmesan cheese.
  • Add orecchiette pasta to cream sauce.
  • Stir to coat evenly, so spinach wilts. Add sliced basil on top.
