One Skillet Sausage Penne

1.25 cups
water
1.25 cups
(approximately 1 can) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 0z)
Hunts Tomato Sauce with Basil, Garlic, Oregano
1.5 cups
penne pasta, uncooked
1/3 cup
Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
  • Heat a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add sausage meat and cook for 5-8 minutes, breaking apart with spoon, until fully browned. Drain skillet and return sausage to skillet.
  • Add water, tomatoes (undrained), tomato sauce and pasta to skillet. Stir well and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to a low simmer. Continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until pasta is al dente.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over pasta mixture and serve.
