Italian Sausage Caprese Skewer

What You Need
500 ml
(2 tasses) de tomates cerises (24 tomates)
1 cont.
(454 g/16 oz) de boules de mozzarella fraîche marinées (695 g/24,5 oz si boules ciliegine)
1 pqt.
(71 g/2,5 oz) de feuilles de basilic frais
petites brochettes en bois ou autres piques de fantaisie
Huile d'olive extra vierge
Sirop balsamique* (peut être remplacé par du vinaigre balsamique) *Le sirop balsamique se trouve dans les épiceries fines.
Poivre fraîchement moulu, au goût
  • Cook the sausage according to the package directions for the grill or in a skillet.
  • Cut each sausage into 4-5 pieces.
  • Assemble each skewer alternating ingredients: tomato, basil, mozzarella and sausage.
  • Arrange skewers on a platter, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic syrup.
  • Sprinkle with salt and a grinding of fresh black pepper.
