Holiday Party Meatballs
Try this bite-size treat, with a sweet and spicy kick, at your next holiday party. Our Holiday Party Meatballs, made with Johnsonville’s Mild Italian Sausage Meat and a crafty blend of cranberry and chili sauce, make the perfect appetizer or party pleaser.
What You Need
1 cupcranberry sauce
1 cupchili sauce (preferred brand)
- Preheat oven to 400F. Shape sausage meat into 20 evenly sized meatballs. Arrange on a cookng sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper and bake in oven for 10 minutes (or until golden brown).
- In a large saucepan, combine sauces and cook over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Add cooked meatballs from oven and mix with sauce. Cover and let simmer for another 10 minutes, or until heated through, stirring occassionally.
- Slow Cooker Preparation: Place meatballs in slow cooker. In a bowl, combine sauces and pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on high or 4 hours.
