Sausage Enchiladas

For easy, excellent enchiladas, look no further than Johnsonville. This simple recipe has all the flavours you love with a special kick from Johnsonville Hot Italian Sausage Meat.

What You Need
1/2 cup
red onion, chopped
1 cup
Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 jar
enchilada sauce
1 jar
tomato sauce
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
chili powder

large flour tortillas
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
  • Add sausage, onions and salt and pepper to skillet. Cook for 7-9 mins until sausage is cooked through.
  • Drain excess grease from pan.
  • Add 2/3 cup of cheese to sausage mixture.
  • In a medium bowl, combine enchilada sauce, tomato sauce, garlic and chili powder.
  • Fill flour tortillas with sausage mixture. Roll and place in pan.
  • Cover with enchilada sauce mix and remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Serve while hot.
