Sausage Pizza Wheels

We took a pizza and made it better. These Sausage Pizza Wheels are the perfect size to take on the go, serve as an appetizer or create the best school lunch ever. Try it with our Mild Italian Sausage Meat or get creative with our different Johnsonville sausage flavours.

What You Need

1 tube
Pillsbury French bread dough
1 1/2 Tbsp.
Marinara sauce
3-4 slices
Provolone cheese

1/2 cup
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation
  • Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease a sheet pan.
  • Remove dough from can, cut in half and place 2 pieces beside each other. Roll the dough out into a square.
  • Layer marinara sauce over dough. Place provolone on top of rolled out dough and sauce. Follow with a layer of sprinkled on sausage meat and mozzarella cheese.
  • Roll up and pinch seam to seal. Slice into 8 pieces.
  • Arrange on sheet pan, spaced well apart. Bake until golden brown for about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with more marinara dipping sauce.
