Sausage Stir Fry
Vegetables never looked so good and it’s all thanks to our Johnsonville Classic Style Sausage Meat. Try this delicious dish with an irresistable mix of a sweet and savoury sauce, crisp vegetables, Johnsonville sausage and a kick of sriracha. It’s easy to make for any type of chef and can be served as a side or entree.

What You Need

low-sodium soy sauce

rice vinegar

brown sugar

sriracha (to preferred level of spiciness)

cooking oil (use preferred type)

snow peas

red onion, diced large

red bell pepper, diced large

yellow bell pepper, diced large

garlic cloves, chopped fine

zucchini, cut into half moons

bok choy, quartered

carrots, sliced
Preparation
- In a small, sealable container, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, sriracha and ginger. Close container and shake well to combine. Set aside.
- Cook sausage meat according to package instructions. Drain fat and set aside.
- In a large wok, pan or skillet, cook oil on high heat. Add the vegatables and garlic to the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- While the vegetables are still firm, add the sausage meat and sauce. Mix well on medium heat for approximately 2-3 minutes to allow sauce and meat to heat. Add a teaspoon of water to stir fry is sauce thickens more than desired.
- Use seseme seeds to garnish and serve over rice.
