Italian Sausage Sliders
Take a break from routine and change up your usual beef burgers with these mouth-watering Italian Sausage Sliders made with convenient casing-free Johnsonville Sausage Meat. Add your favourite topping or go all-Italian by smothering them in piping hot marinara sauce topped with melty provolone. Mamma mia!
What You Need
- In a large bowl, combine sausage meat and beef. Using your hands, blend the two meats together and form into one large ball. Use a spoon or a small measuring cup, make small 90 g (3 oz) balls and press into patties.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, pan fry 4 or 5 sliders at a time. Cook for about 3 minutes,then flip and continue cooking for another 3 minutes.
- Test for doneness. Internal temperature should be 71°C (160°F) with no pink juices running out.
- Slice the buns and top the sliders with your favourite condiments.
